ctcLink Organizational Change Project Lead in Bellevue, WA

OVERVIEW The SBCTC Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project, called ctcLink, is a multi-phase, multi-year project that will replace the full administrative software suite for the 34 community and technical colleges and the SBCTC. The Organizational Change Manager is responsible for overall Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities related to ctcLink, including benefit realization, coordinating OCM activities with training, business process analysis/reengineering and coordination with communications activities. The primary focus will be creating and implementing a Change Management plan to maximize employee and customer engagement and minimize resistance. Our values are focused on customer service, integrity, humor/exuberance, ability, and great communication. Main responsibilities Develops and leads the execution of the ctcLink OCM plan. Works with?and facilitates others working with?key stakeholders including the Project Management Team, Core Project Team, College Sub-Teams and College stakeholders to ensure the execution of the planned organizational changes are part of ctcLink implementation. Works with the ctcLink Project Director to ensure the availability of key resources not dedicated / assigned to the project. Performs quality assurance of OCM activities and deliverables, in coordination with the Risk Manager / QA Lead. Ensures that any internal or ERP vendor methodologies that support planning, design and deployment of process and organizational change are proactively introduced with enough lead time so that other project sub-teams can be effective and efficient in using the methodologies. Ensures OCM activities regarding major process changes are effectively coordinated with stakeholder readiness, communications and training development activities. Monitors and manages OCM-related project risks. Manages the OCM Team?s schedule, resources and budget. Leads Communications, Training, Business Analysis and Organization Design activities in managing schedule, resources (including external resources), risks, issues, etc. Periodically reports status to the ERP Project Director. Manages (to resolution; including escalation if necessary) issues / problems identified by the OCM Team. supervision/reporting The OCM manager will supervise training lead, BPR lead and program staff working in close collaboration with the communications lead. The OCM manager reports to the ctcLink Project Director. knowledge, skills and abilities A solid understanding of the change process and how people go through change Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies Experience managing change in an organization using and implementing BPR Exceptional communication expertise ? both written and verbal; experience delivering content to a geographically dispersed audience by leveraging multi-media and internet based technologies Excellent active listening skills Able to work efficiently at all levels in an organization Strong analytic and decision making abilities Strong management expertise Strong coaching skills Experience measuring adoption rates and proactively identifying areas where adoption rates are below goals. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Proficiency in ms word processing, calendaring/mail software and other project management software tools Team member; self-motivated Bachelor?s degree in human resources, organization development, business administration or related position OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five Years professional, applicable experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Experience working in a college or college system environment Experience with a large-scale organizational change effort Change Management Professional designation Previous change management background COMPENSATION The annual compensation for this position is $90,000.
