The primary role for this position is to develop and maintain the companys fund raising programs focused on helping schools and non-profit organizations raise extra money to support their activities. Fund raising programs bring the companys mission of building smarter kids and stronger families using their award winning products closer to the teachers, parents and children that can most benefit. The person in this position will develop program policies and procedures, assist with technology specifications and development, establish relationships with key target markets and implement the program with their sales force. This is a tremendous opportunity to build a nation wide fundraising program from the ground up. Essential FunctionsMajor Responsibilities Define policies and procedures for the companys fundraising program using existing defined criteria and goals for the program. Test key concepts for the companys school fund raising program by selecting several partner schools to trial program. Work with technology team to develop, evaluate and test system processes that support launching, notifications, ordering and monitoring of individual fund raisers at the school, consultant and company level. Develop key promotional and collateral materials including system templates to support the program. Develop internal training materials and training segments to nation wide sales force. Build relationships with key national organizations such as National PTA that support fund raising opportunities. Attend key national conventions to promote the fund raising program with school administrators and other decision makers governing fund raising programs. Responsible for sales results, margins, stock management and other key criteria for ongoing program once the program is launched. Education andor Experience 7-10 yrs experience in managing a salesprogram for a consumer products company B to C focused on education, learning, family or children products for school fund raising. Experience with direct sales market channel a plus. BA andor MBA in marketing. Proven track record in working with a field sales force to introduce new and grow existing sales programs. Flexible and dependable hands on self starter, comfortable working in a start-up, entrepreneurial environment. Detail oriented and highly organized. Expertise to set priorities and identify tasks to implement a pre-defined strategy. Superior written and oral communication abilities.
